Paul Batchelor
Non Executive Director
Paul has a 45 year international career spanning financial services, business services and advisory. His corporate roles include Chairman, CEO, COO and CFO of a number of large financial institutions such as Colonial Limited and AMP and he has deep experience in small to mid-sized private businesses.
In 2009 Paul co-founded private investment firm Yorkway (now Quintet Yorkway) and is currently a non-executive director of all Quintet Yorkway investee companies. Paul represents Quintet Yorkway investors on the Northland Board.
He serves on the Investment Committee of the Australian Olympic Commission Foundation and was awarded the AOC Order of Merit in 2018 and the Centenary Medal in 2001. He established two of Australia’s largest foundations, the AMP Foundation and the Colonial Foundation.
Paul has an innate ability to see business scenarios from both sides of the boardroom table and structure strategic solutions tailored to suit the business situation and investors’ needs.
As Executive Chair, Co-Founder of Quintet Yorkway and as a private investor himself, Paul is constantly looking to add value to investee businesses and investors.
