Michelene Hart
Chair

Michelene has over 35 years of experience in financial services and investing, operating at the board level of numerous companies, ranging from large listed to small privately owned organisations.  In 2009 she co-founded private investment firm Yorkway (now Quintet Yorkway) and is actively involved in all Quintet Yorkway investments. Michelene represents Quintet Yorkway investors on the Northland Board.

Michelene has a wealth of experience in strategy, governance, investment, mergers and acquisition, risk management and finance utilised in a wide range of corporate roles including Chairman, CEO, CFO and COO.  Prior to Quintet Yorkway, she held senior executive positions with Colonial Limited and CBA and CEO of a listed investment company and a listed vineyard trust.  Her transaction experience includes mergers, acquisitions, divestments, demutualisation and listing from $10 million to $10 billion.

Michelene is currently a non-executive director of a number of investee companies.  She served for 12 years on the board of CBHS Health Funds, including Chair of Audit and Risk Committee and CBHS Corporate Health Fund as well as a being founding member of the Investment Committee.

Michelene has an Executive MBA (UTS) and B Economics degree (Monash), Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
