Tim Russell is Chair of Northland Pensions and brings more than 25 years of experience across private equity investment, funds management, chartered accounting, and advisory roles throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Tim has held senior leadership positions at leading global institutions, including serving as Partner and Managing Director at Equis and Goldman Sachs JB Were. His extensive experience in investment strategy, governance, capital management, and financial oversight provides strong stewardship and strategic guidance to Northland.

As Chair, Tim works closely with the Board and executive team to support Northland’s long-term growth, disciplined governance framework, and commitment to delivering sustainable value for clients and stakeholders.
